When I painted this, I wanted to try and capture the light filtering through the leaves, as well as the atmosphere with the large waterfall in the distance. Painting a lot of very tiny leaves turned out to be more than I bargained for --- there were times when I actually asked myself why I chose a subject with so many tiny elements in it!
