This portrait was one of a group of paintings that the Portrait Artists' Society of the Philippines, Inc. (PASPI) did. Members are divided into groups, and each group is assigned to paint the portrait of a single person. I'm used to doing larger paintings, so this was something new for me, because it is only 12" x 16" in size.
